Who doesn’t love crispy, sweet and savory apple cobbler? This recipe is so easy and so delicious!
I love camping and I love cooking, especially desserts. Yum! You can prepare and cook these foil packets so easily, even the kiddos can do them. Total prep time is about 2-3 minutes, and cooking time ranges from 13-17 minutes depending on how crunchy you like your apples. Throw the packets directly on the campfire grill and you have a delicious dessert. You can add whip cream or ice cream, or just eat it straight from the pack. Feel free to use any kind of apples. My favorite are the Red Delicious but if you like a little bit of tart go with the Granny Smith apples.
*Tip: Make sure to slice the apples thinly and evenly to ensure even cooking.
So, to not waste any more time, here is the worlds best and crispiest campfire apple cobbler recipe.
